Nefratiti Statue

Nefertiti was a powerful queen of ancient Egypt who ruled alongside Pharaoh Akhenaten from around 1353 to 1336 BC. She may have even become the ruler after her husband’s death. In artwork, she is often shown as the same size as Akhenaten, which was unusual because size usually represented importance and power. This suggests she held significant influence during a time of important religious and cultural changes in Egypt.
