Poseidon Statue

Poseidon, god of the sea, earthquakes, storms, and horses, was known for his fierce temper and unpredictable moods. Son of Cronus and Rhea, he was swallowed by his father along with his siblings to prevent a prophecy that one would overthrow him. Zeus later freed Poseidon and the others, leading to the fall of Cronus and the rise of the Olympian gods. Poseidon is often depicted as a strong, mature man with a dark beard, wielding his iconic trident—a three-pronged spear. His volatile nature made him both feared and respected, as his anger could unleash storms and earthquakes.
